HUMOR
I couldn’t get far ‘being transparent’ without mentioning that I used to write a humor column for Canticle magazine. Much as I love to laugh, it was a surprise to me to find my writing taking an ironic turn one day after writing many Profound Thoughts in a row. Somehow, try as I might to be Very Serious, life gets funnier as I get older and I’m not surprised at all anymore to get the giggles about the most ordinary things. JOY seems to be at the root of it all, and I’m glad to see it grow. I hope something I have said tickles you.
